About Us
I am an engineer who went to one of the top engineering schools and started a tech company. The best time in my life was when I was building products, building and empowering teams, and growing revenue. Just running a nice business that did real good for the world. I exited it to a US co just before I turned 30.
Then suddenly I felt like my life was over. My blood biomarkers were that of a 45 year old, I was overweight, tired, lost my 'tribe' of people, and felt I probably could never do much in life again - let alone start up another company to solve problems.
It took some time but I improved on everything. I like systems and process thinking - I learned about longevity and created a regimen of exercise and supplementation to not only get to the top 1% of biomarkers in my age group, but also to extend the healthy part of life so I could do much more. I learned valuations and investments. I always knew mental models but I doubled down on learning them. And I found a person worth solving and started my new company too :)
The world is such a wonderful place and I want as much time in it to learn, explore and create useful stuff.
The Useful Stack publishes for sedentary people (as I had become) who work at a desk, as most people nowadays do. I hope some of the ideas here inspire you. There are two formats of content I will write here:
Essays
Deeply researched topics of interest to me with tips and guidance I myself follow ( I won't write or advocate anything that I wouldn't do myself)
Checklists and templates to create habits and systems in life along with the associated psychology
Notes:
Shorter thoughts and musings, answers to questions I have daily and ponder up. Maybe you have some of the same questions as you go through life. I love learning.
